2006 ANNUAL CHILD AND YOUTH CARE PRACTICE CONFERENCE

                                    MAINE CHILD AND YOUTH CARE PRACTITIONER DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD

 Each member agency is asked to submit a narrative for their nomination (maximum 125 words) of a direct-care worker within their agency who exemplifies excellence in Youth Care Practice.  As a member agency, you are allowed one nomination.  We ask that you consider the following points when nominating and writing your narrative:

  • Outstanding performance on the job

  • Longevity of service

  •  Passion/commitment/efforts toward their own professional development in the field of Child and Youth Care Practice

  •  Effectiveness in a team-based environment

  • Demonstrated interest in going “above and beyond” in meeting the needs of youth
