 Dear Members:

 It is time again to renew your membership in the Maine Association of Group Care Providers, and we look forward to your continued involvement.

 For the benefit of potential new members, let me introduce MAGCP. Maine Association of Group Care Providers is a group of administrators who come together on the first Friday of every month to discuss issues of mutual interest. This has included our relationship with state agencies, training opportunities, funding, and Medicaid changes and regulations.

 Our Mission is to improve the quality of services for children and youth who require out-of-home care. We educate, inform, and support member agencies and their representatives through training, networking, and collaborating with Government and other organizations that share common interest in the well being of children and adolescents.

The agency rates are as follows, agency annual budgets of:

Under -  $250,000  =   $150.00 membership dues

$250,000 – $750,00 = $200.00 membership dues

$750,000 –$1,500,000 = $250.00 membership dues

$1,500,000 – over = $300.00 membership dues

Your membership provides the following benefits:

·        The ability to learn about PMNI and DHS funding

·        The ability to network with other providers

·        The ability to learn about licensing regulations for agencies servicing youths in Maine

·        The ability to meet with various State Department Heads

·        Sponsorship of the Maine Summer H’Olympics

·        The ability to participate in the Annual MAGCP Retreat

·        Sponsorship of trainings and the annual Youth Worker Conference

·        The ability to learn about the certification process for Youth Workers

 We look forward to your participation in the association and we are sure this will be an exciting opportunity to support, learn and collaborate with others in the same profession.
